Welcome back to our final half term. It’s sure to be a busy one and we can’t wait to get started. This half term we shall be continuing our learning about Life in The Freezer.
Every Tuesday until the end of term we shall be learning outdoors with Mrs Hart’s Forest School lessons. Please make sure that your child comes to school in their warm, suitable clothing as well as their uniform to get changed into for the afternoon. This half term in our relationships and sex education lessons, we shall be learning the correct names for male and female genitalia (penis and vulva). This is in line with our school’s relationships and sex education curriculum and is part of the government’s statutory requirement to teach the correct terminology to children. Reading at home is incredibly important for your child’s progress please continue to hear your child read at home. Reading books will be changes on a Monday and Thursday. Please make sure that your child reads and rereads the same book, this will build up their fluency of reading. PE will continue to be taught every Wednesday and Thursday. Please could you make sure that laces are tied in a double knot, this will be very helpful and most appreciated! Here’s to a great half term!
