Welcome back to Foxes
I hope you all had a lovely half term break and have taken some time reflecting on your amazing attitudes during SATs week. Well done everyone. This term we are very busy, our new topic of 'Are we always evolving?' concentrates on Charles Darwin and his incredible voyage on The Beagle. We will be mapping their route across the seas, looking at evolution and the famous 'Finches' and investigating animal adaptation. We are also working towards our end of year production 'Star Warts' - which is already fast becoming my favourite. The songs are super catchy and there are some very clever jokes - see if you can spot them when you come to watch the performance. Alongside this, lots of transition work is happening in school to consolidate our skills and knowledge and prepare ourselves to the move to high school. There will be visits from each high school to talk to the children and so prepare your children with any questions they would like to ask. We also have our residential to Kingswood - so keep an eye out for all the fun we'll be having. Don't forget to complete your transition work for high school over the next few weeks. PE will be on a Wednesday and Friday, please ensure that your children come to school in their school PE kits on these days. Keep checking our page to see photos of all the fun we will be having with our learning back at school!
